Want to know how efficient your car or bike really is? Our free Fuel Mileage Calculator works out your mileage in km per litre (and mpg) from the distance you travelled and the fuel you used. It also calculates your fuel cost, toll and parking charges, total trip cost, cost per kilometre and each person’s share. You can plan a trip in advance or check how far your fuel or budget will take you. It works for petrol, diesel and CNG, in kilometres or miles and in litres or gallons.

FAQs:
Q1. How do I calculate mileage?
Divide the distance travelled by the fuel used. For example, 300 km on 20 litres gives 15 km per litre.
Q2. How do I get accurate mileage?
Fill the tank to full, reset your trip meter, drive normally, then refill to full and note the litres added. Use that number as the fuel used.
Q3. What is the difference between km/L and L/100 km?
km/L tells you how far you go on one litre, so higher is better. L/100 km tells you the fuel needed for 100 km, so lower is better. The calculator shows both.
Q4. Can I use miles and gallons?
Yes. Pick miles and US or UK gallons in the unit settings, and all results convert automatically.
