  2. Choose the life stage, then neutered status, activity and weight goal for adult cats.
  3. Select the food type, or enter the calories per kg from the label.
  4. Click Calculate to see daily calories, food amounts and meals.

FAQs:
Q: How much should I feed my cat each day?
A: A neutered 4.5 kg (10 lb) adult cat needs about 260 calories a day. That is roughly 60 g of dry food, or about 3 pouches of wet food.

Q: How often should I feed my cat?
A: Most adult cats do well with 2 to 3 small meals a day. Kittens need 3 to 4.

Q: Can I mix dry and wet food?
A: Yes. The calculator shows an example where half the daily calories come from dry food and half from wet. Whatever you mix, keep the total calories the same.

Q: How do I help my cat lose weight?
A: Pick “Lose weight” to reduce calories gently. Never put a cat on a strict diet without asking your vet.
